My interest in photography began at the age of 8, when I was presented with my very own Kodak Instamatic camera with a flashcube on top. While I thoroughly enjoyed snapping away at everything that crossed my path, I found myself almost equally interested in how that little flashcube transformed, each time I took a picture and it twisted a quarter turn. It’s always been the little things that catch my eye. The way the light hits the wall at a certain time of day, or how a single expression can evoke a world of emotion. As a fine arts photographer, I am constantly chasing those moments where I notice the “little things,” with the hope of preserving them forever.
